Sample Requirements

The appropriate quantity and type of specimen is required for accurate and efficient processing. Fresh or frozen blood samples for testing shall be provided by Client with a written test request. Client agrees all blood specimens shall be collected, labeled, stored and transported to BSL in accordance with written guidelines. Upon receipt, BSL will assess blood specimens and test requisitions. Client will be notified by telephone or e-mail if it is discovered that the specimens or requisitions are unacceptable. Specimens that do not meet the requirements, will not be tested.
