A baccalaureate or higher degree in Microbiology or Bacteriology.
OR
A baccalaureate or higher with 24 semester units of sciences including chemistry, biology. At least 6 semester units in medical or pathogenic microbiology or bacteriology must be included. A course in immunology or serology may be accepted as a substitute for 3 or less of these required semester units.
Courses in Microbiology, Bacteriology, Immunology, Serology, Virology, Parasitology. (Course titles must reflect these topics.)
